It’s been exciting to see the progress on our Building project! The metal roof, siding, and windows installation is nearly completed, the work on the flat roof is well on it’s way, and volunteers have sanded and stained the canopy by Entrance A. Thanks to your donations and pledges, we have raised over $270,000 towards our $295,000 goal. If you wish to make a donation or a pledge please use the link below.

FAQ

When do I give to the Campaign?

You can give any time you wish to give. We anticipate collecting funds until Spring 2022. You may choose to give weekly, monthly, quarterly, randomly, or as a one time gift. All of these options work for us.

How do I give to the campaign?

All donations we receive that are designated to the “Building Fund” will be put towards this project. Current giving options include:

  • Cash, Cheque, and Cards at the Giving Kiosk
  • CU@home
    Credit Union’s online banking system
Add “Winkler MB Church – Building Fund” as a vendor and use your 10-digit phone number as your account number.

  • Automatic Withdrawal from your bank account

Rachel Loewen is available to help answer any questions you might have about giving methods. Call her at the office at (204) 325-8322 or by email at rachel@winklermb.com.

What if I cannot give right now?

We totally understand that not everyone has the financial margin to give “over and above” or “extra” funds. We have always upheld the freedom to say “not at this time” or “no thank you” to any giving opportunities.

Should I reduce my regular giving to support the campaign?

Please do not. Our church has a ministry-focused general fund budget that depends on the faithful financial support of our congregation. Capital campaign giving is “over and above” giving.

How will financial progress be reported to the congregation?

We will communicate updates at our worship services, through WMBC News, and on our website throughout the campaign.

Allocation of funds is confined to Leadership Board approved programs and purchases. Each gift designated toward an approved program will be used as designated with the understanding that when any given need has been met, or where projects cannot be carried out for any reason, designated gifts will be used where needed most.
