How are you doing? no really…
Thank you so much for giving us a glimpse to where you are at personally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Thank you for your words of affirmation, your creative ideas, and your prayers. This information helps know where to focus our leadership energy and connect with those who are in most need of support. Overall what we heard is that you’re doing well.
- Our stress and anxiety levels related to COVID is fairly low.
- Most of us have not had a significant disruption of income or employment.
- We are staying connected to family and hope in God.
- We want WMBC leadership to give us great teaching from the Bible, prayer and support, and help us connect in community.
- We are willing to serve and love others in a variety of ways.
Remember WMBC, we live in the power of the Holy Spirit! Holy Spirit helps us do good to others, He leads us to a more intimate relationship with Jesus, He reveals truth to us, He leads us and guides us, He prays for us, He gives us spiritual gifts, He brings love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control to our hearts, He transforms us to look more like Jesus, He gives us courage to share our faith, He helps us overcome sin, He reveals the deep things of God, He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement, He strengthens us, He’s the mark of our adoption as God’s children, He helps us understand and remember the teachings of Jesus, He comforts us, He pleads our case before God, He reveals the thoughts of God to us, and He’s the presence and power of God living within you!
This week we look at the second promise in our Uncaged series, the promise that God will help us stand up to temptation. We’ll talk about what temptation is and how Jesus changes things for us.
The Spirit Speaking Through. You On Sunday Mike invited us to spend time with God, getting to know His Spirit, and letting Him do His work in our lives. In this week’s devotional we focus in on one of the ways He likes to work the most: prophecy.
