Mental Health Counselling Program

Brent Thiessen is a Master of Counselling Student at Providence Theological Seminary who is completing his practicum hours and providing free mental health counselling through WMBC, and supported by supervising counsellors and professors. Whatever obstacles you are facing, mental health counselling can be a useful response and Brent will help you work through these obstacles, whether it is relationship problems, depression, anxiety, addictions, or any other concern that you wish to address.

Small Group

If you're looking to get into community, or the thing to take your faith to the next level, consider signing up for a Small Group. Small groups meet in homes throughout the week to do life and learn to follow Jesus together.


DivorceCare & DC4K

DivorceCare & DC4K are faith-based support groups that exist to help families struggling through the experience of divorce or separation and to walk alongside those who are on a path of reconciliation. Each week you will not only hear from nationally recognized speakers on a variety of relevant topics, but you will also get to connect with and hear the stories of local families in a similar situation as yourself.

Single + Parenting

There aren't many people who truly understand the unique challenges single parents face. You deeply desire to do what's best for your kids, but sometimes it's all you do to survive from one day to the next. Single & Parenting is a special weekly group that will bring hope to your life. Each week, you'll experience helpful video seminars as well as meaningful interaction with other single parents. We'd love for you to join us.

One of the ways we tangible ways that we bring good news into people’s lives is helping them get back on four wheels.  G-Force is an automotive ministry that helps meet the practical transportation needs for people in the Pembina Valley.  If you would like to donate a vehicle, become a volunteer mechanic, join the support team, or learn more, please email

If you’re going through a major illness or have lost a loved one and would like a pastor or representative from WMBC to connect with you, please let us know.


We’d love to pray for you whenever you are in times of difficulty or trials.  WMBC staff pray for the needs of WMBCers on a daily basis and we have a prayer team that is available if you would like to have someone pray with you.  Please let us know if there is anything we can pray for by submitting a request.

Expecting Parents

Are you expecting or have recently had a baby? We'd love to celebrate with you and support you as you head into this new season of life. At WMBC, we love partnering with parents and coming alongside you in your efforts to raise your children and influence them with the message of God's story. Simply fill out the form below and you'll receive our parent's gift, some next steps for what it looks like to be a parent at WMBC, and we'll begin rearranging some free meals to be delivered to your home within first year of your child's life!
