How does it work?
A child, family, person requests help from a professional community-serving agency (e.g. Child & Family Services, Genesis House, Regional Connections). That agency vets the need and then shares that request to the network. PV Care Collab alerts churches and community members to these needs, and the church partners together to ensure that the child and family is helped!
why are we involved?
Many of our vulnerable families in our community are isolated and don’t have support systems. We have a chance to impact and care for the most vulnerable in our community by equipping WMBC and other local churches to meet the practical needs of families in crisis, like delivering a crib, a mattress, or clothing. We bring good news into peoples lives.
We are excited about the potential of PV Care Collab and the impact it will have on families in need, as they experience the love of Jesus and the refuge of God’s Kingdom through the Church of Winkler. And we are also excited about mobilizing WMBC to be a people of refuge, by equipping and empowering you to love your neighbor!
